2019 F1 Stock Car Trust Fund Race @ King's Lynn
Trackstar are pleased to announce the BSCDA has chosen King’s Lynn to stage the 2019 Trust Fund event; Saturday 31st August @5:30pm.
For the first time in 16 years, the race will take place at King’s Lynn; a race designed to help raise funds for the Drivers Benevolent Fund, is open to all drivers that have been Red or Superstar grade during 2019. The drivers will then make their way around the Arena collecting any donations for the fund.
The addition of this race adds to an already mouth watering meeting for the F1 Stock Cars, accompanying the Consolation Semi Final last chance showdown to qualify for the World Final and three prestigious memorial races throughout the evening – as if this wasn’t enough - the excellent F2 Stock Cars and brilliant Ministox complete the line up.
Proposed F1 Stock Car format (subject to change):
1 - Consolation Semi Final (separate / stand alone race to the meeting)
2 - Heat 1 Steve Frogatt Trophy - White, Yellow and Blue graders only
3 - Heat 2 Trust Fund Race - Any driver that has been Red or Superstar during 2019
4 - Consolation
5 - Meeting Final - Allan Barker Trophy
6 - Grand National - Richie Ahern Trophy
With so much already taking place, it unfortunately means we will be unable to stage our customary F1 Stock Car Whites and Yellows race – which is normally the first race of the programme. In lieu of this, we have decided that Heat 1 which is open to White, Yellow and Blue graders, will score points for the White and Yellow Championship that will take place March 2020. For this purpose only - the blue graders will be removed from the result and the first ten Whites and Yellows in the result will receive points had it been the normal whites and yellows race, to added to their tally for the championship grid.
