ORCI Statement / Update Saturday 30th May
The ORCi has been working extremely hard in recent weeks with it's consultants, HSE and government advice to provide Covid 19 Policies and Rules to allow the ‘safe’ return of Practice type events subject to the government and Local authority permitting venues to open after 1st June.
As all are aware, these are difficult times however the resumption of such events is a ‘baby’ step forward. Under the strict conditions we MUST work within, we must all accept that, currently we cannot simply step back to complete normality, that remains some weeks ahead.
Below are the policies which are designed to allow our sport to ‘unlock’ and designed to assist that we are compliant and within Government guidance. The rules stipulated are not open to any further relaxation at this time. At this juncture events permits STRICTLY ONLY Driver plus one admission, No other persons will be admitted and this is strictly behind closed doors.
The policy should be read clearly before pre booking so that you fully understand the requirements the policies highlight as mandatory and any questions should be directed to the promotion concerned.
The guidance and the rules are following strict government guidance and discussion with several EHO officers across England and will be strictly enforced.
The ORCi will continue to review these policies as and when further guidance becomes available.
