The first Trackstar awards night took place last Friday at King’s Lynn Football Club where the top performing drivers in National Bangers, 1300 Stock Cars and Reliant Robins received their annual awards.
A fantastic turnout of recipients and their friends saw the bar bursting to capacity.
The top awards saw 22 Dave Vincent and 730 Deane Mayes pick up their awards for the National Banger Points and Entertainer League respectively whilst 216 Dan Booth picked up his points award in the 1300 Stock Cars and 576 Colin Aldred did in the Reliant Robins.
The full results of the voted for awards are below.
NATIONAL BANGERS
Driver of the Year – 22 Dave Vincent took the title with 21% of the vote. He was followed by 730 Deane Mayes with 19%. 886 Lewis Stark polled 12% whilst 338 Terry Garrod, 399 Jonny Atkin and 837 Martin Wesby polled 9%, 390 David Gibson polled 6 % and the remaining 15% were shared between 176 Ady Gibbs, 601 Chris Meddler791 Nicky Young, 851 Adam Storr and 887 Liam Stark.

Team of the Year – The Mad Hatters regained the title they lost last season with 39% of the vote. Team Jackpot came second with 26% and Bad News were third with 15%. The remaining 20% of the vote was split between Mr Men, Norfolk N Good and the Predators.

Newcomer of the Year – This award went to 887 Liam Stark with 51% of the vote. 182 Ashley Watkinson took 21% of the vote with 11 Ryan Leeks and 8 James Jackson polling 14% each.
Most Improved Driver – 601 Chris Meddler took this trophy with 45% of the vote. 399 Jonny Atkin took 21% whilst 376 Jason Farthing polled 15%, 851 Adam Storr polled 12% and 27 Will Longford 7%.
1300 STOCK CARS
Driver of the Year – 216 Dan Booth celebrated a dominant year in the formula by winning the Driver’s Driver of the Year Award. Dan took the title with 26% of the vote. 573 Shane Moat came home in second place with 17%, 316 Danny McCluskey and 673 John Moat both took 13% of the vote whilst 5 Jonathon Upchurch and 473 Dean Moat polled 9% and the remaining 26% of the vote was shared between 381 Liam Easter, 653 Gemma Rainer and 802 Richard Clarke.
Newcomer of the Year – 177 Chris Masters won this award with 54% of the vote. 555 Jherek Upchurch was second with 31%, 88 Lyndon Stark took 12% and 55 Josh Harlock took 3% of the vote.
Most Improved Driver – 653 Gemma Rainer polled 33% of the vote which saw her take this title just beating 573 Shane Moat who polled 30%. 316 Dan McCluskey polled 22% whilst the remaining 15% was shared between 381 Liam Easter and 802 Richard Clarke.

RELIANT ROBINS
Driver of the Year – The Robins had one award which was the Driver of the Year which was won by 576 Colin Aldred who polled 38% of the vote. 851 Adam Storr polled 25% whilst 1 Allen Cooper and 385 Roy Gedge both polled 13 % each and the remaining 11% was shared between 351 Martin Evans and 664 Ryan Sutcliffe.
