With around 50 cars missing out on the British grid just qualifying for the big race is a major acheivement in itself and congratulations go to the 34 who have secured their place.
Some big names have missed out on making the grid and will be left to try their chance in the Last Chance Race where the remaining two placesfor the British Championship will be decided.
The Last Chance for the British Championship also doubles up as the first heat of the Steve Newman Memorial and the top ten drivers home will progress to the Steve Newman Memorial. These will be joined by the top sixteen drivers in the British Championship and the first ten drivers in the Consolation.
Today's big afternoon of action starts at 1pm.
