Congratulations go to 1300 Stock Car World Champion 344 Ross Fisher who broke all the record books by becoming the youngest ever 1300 Stock Car World Champion - at the age of 16 years and 198 days!
Calm before the storm - the 1300 Stock Car World Final grid is put into place
Fisher qualified for the big race on pole position courtesy of a superb qualifying campaign. Whilst many expected Ross to be moved aside by the hugely experienced names which he was surrounded by though it was Ross who took control of the race on lap three when he passed Spedeworth Points Champion 713 Ian Beaumont who had earlier moved past him. Following that Ross was not really troubled en route to taking a well deserved title success. A full report on the meeting courtesy of Mark Paulson will appear here later in the week.
SUPER CHAMP - 344 Ross Fisher following his world success!
