Some important items to note for drivers and fans regarding the 31 October meeting.
Drivers
With around 170 cars expected we will have a lot to get through with scrutineering, signing in etc. The pits will be opening at the extra early time of 2pm. Scrutineers will be present from Trackstar, Spedeworth, PRI, Buxton and other promotions. Please ensure that your car conforms to the rule book so that you pass scrutineering at the first attempt!
Please take advantage of the early opening. If you arrive at the stadium much after half four it is very unlikely you will make your first race and with such a large amount of cars and races to get through together with a 10.30pm curfew we will not be able to delay racing for drivers who are not scrutineered and we will also not be able to push drivers who are late up the scrutineering queue as this is unfair to those who have arrived on time and in the queue.
Please note that the Saloon White & Yellow Final is at 5.40pm and you will need to be ready to go on track at 5.30pm to be gridded.
The first Unlimited Banger Race is the 25 & Under Championship of GB and this will be at 6pm sharp and if you have not been scrutineered we will not be able to wait for you. The scrutineers have also been told not to rush scrutineering a car so the driver can make a race.
There will be a parade of Banger Drivers at 5pm. If you wish to go on the parade you will have to be ready to go on track at 4.50pm and only drivers who have had their cars scrutineered will be allowed on the parade.
Spectators
Although the Adrian Flux Arena is a big stadium and we will be able to fit everyone in on Halloween Carnival Night we are expecting one of the biggest croeds of the season.
There is nothing worse for fans than standing outside in a big queue whe the racing starts and given the very tight schedule we have with so many races we will not be able to delay racing to wait for the crowd to get in.
We have so far sold an unprecedented amount of advance tickets for this event. Despite it only being Wednesday we have already sold more than three times the advance tickets which we have ever sold for a busy Bank Holiday Monday meeting. As well as offering a saving of up to £2 per person, advance tickets enable you to q jump and we are highly recommending that if you are coming on Saturday you consider purchasing one of these.
Please note though that advance tickets are only able to be used through the main stadium entrance and not the pit gate so not suitable for families and race teams for drivers unless they go in the stadium through the main entrance.
Advance tickets will be available to be purchased up until 8pm on Friday 30 October and can be bought by clicking here.
