1300 Stock Car Rule Clarification

Following a recent statement by the 1300 Stock Car Association, the association would like to clarify the following

ALL Vauxhall Corsa C’s must have the complete original floor fitted as per the rules. ALL new build cars from 2016 must also have the floor re-fitted if it was removed, and ALL new build cars must have it fitted before allowed to race.

This is a slight change to the original announcement that only cars (including Corsa Cs would need to have this work done (which has always been in the rules) if the car was built after 2016. However after consulting with drivers who have made this alteration without too much difficulty and scrutineers who expressed concern at being able to identify which cars would qualify for the exception especially a few years in the future it has been decided that all Vauxhall Corsa C’s will need to be done correctly.

It has also been decided that the Corsa C subframe can only be mounted on the original rear mounts on new build cars with immediate effect and ALL cars from Jan 1st 2018. Current rules states that they can be mounted on the under irons, this will no longer be the case.
