Banger Battle of the Sexes

A new initiative this year is the Lady Banger Battle of the Sexes which takes place at the Adrian Flux Arena on Bank Holiday Monday 4 May.

This is a straight competition between the Guys and the Gals to find out who really are the best drivers over a series of two heats and a final.

This fun competition is open to any fully Trackstar licenced lady banger driver who is paired with any fully licenced trackstar National Banger Driver.

When booking in you will have to book in your “lady” driver and your “male” driver at the same time. As said above both must have a full Trackstar licence.

All drivers will race in all races. The lady team member’s car must be painted pink and the male team member’s car must be painted blue. Failure to have a car painted in the proper team colours will mean that you will not be able to race.

There will be no fee to race at this meeting and all races will be strictly run to lady banger racing rules – ie nudge and spin only.

There will be £500 allocated to this meeting and the winning team will have £300 paid to a charity of their choice and the losing team will have £200 paid to a charity of their choice. The way that the charity will be picked is that any driver who books in before the 17 April will be able to nominate a driver for both their female and male drivers that they book in (can nominate same charities if they wish) and the winner of the Lady Banger Final on 18 April will draw the two charities being supported by each team for the meeting. Each team will have to race for a separate charity so although the same charity can be nominated by male and female drivers if it is drawn out of the hat for the Lady team to race for the same charity cannot be drawn out for the male team and if it is will be redrawn.

All drivers in the winning team will receive a trophy.

At present we do not intend to limit numbers in this but if it starts getting busy will have to do so. If you are looking at doing this event you will need to book in asap with your drivers for both the guys and gals team for this event.

This event will not count towards National Points.
