2023 Trackstar World Final and World of Shale events
Following a fantastic 2L Banger Shale World Final and Unlimited Banger World of Shale Final, qualifying starts for the 2023 versions of these important titles in earnest shortly. The first qualifying round for the 2L Banger world takes place at King’s Lynn on 15 October and the first qualifying round for the Unlimited Banger World of Shale takes place as part of Halloween Carnival night on 29 October.
The drivers who were part of the big 2022 races are determined to also be in the races in 2023, such was the brilliant atmosphere and big event feel of this year’s showings.
There will be a slight change to how qualification will work for the 2023 races. The top 15 Trackstar registered points scorers will qualify through the relevant points chart as per 2022.
This year though there will be no wild card places on offer to the final winner and top entertainer scorers at each round and instead the top 15 entertainer point scorers over the 2L World Qualifiers will qualify for the 2L Banger World Final and the top 15 entertainer point scorers over the World of Shale Qualifiers will qualify for the Unlimited Banger World of Shale. The entertainer qualifying route will be open to drivers registered with any promotion.
