Record Breaking Van Event

 

Top van banger driver 186 Mick Gedney has set his sights on organising one of the biggest van meetings for years – and possible ever – for CRASH FOR CANCER – which takes place at King’s Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena on August Bank Holiday Monday (1pm).

Mick has done a lot of work drumming up support for this event and finding vans for drivers. We have gone through the bookings he has worked hard to collect and had drivers reconfirm them in the last seven days to remain on the list. We have now deleted any drivers who have not reconfirmed that they will be racing and the booking list currently stands at a hugely impressive 61 big vans.

Drivers are being encouraged to get sponsored to raise funds for the McMillan Nurses based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at King’s Lynn and there will be other fundraising events on the day.

This meeting is now almost booked for all formulas. Any driver who wishes to be added to the reserve list or needs to cancel their booking must do so by texting 07939 580652.

This meeting also features the 1500cc Banger East Anglian Teams which due to the number of vans booked in to race has been limited to 17 teams of 4 cars and is now already fully booked whilst the Reliant Robin World of Shale Final completes the day’s action.
