The annual Nutcracker event once again provided a great afternoon of Banger racing at the Adrian Flux Arena, attendance more or less as per the booking list, around 40 Unlimited Bangers, over 80 1500cc Bangers and 29 Juniors in the pits. The track spot on for the time of year it was however the freezing fog that hampered conditions; the temperature not above zero all day and fog lingering over the race way, progressively getting worse as the Sun went down; meant three races needed to be regretably abandoned. Upto that point though, there was some fantastic Banger action on track with 26 Paul Lovick picking up the 1500cc National Banger crown and 673 Darren Fendley taking the Nutcracker trophy in the Unlimited Bangers.
