“Keeping Abreast” were in attendance at the 20th October meeting at the Adrian Flux King’s Lynn Arena.
Keeping Abreast offer support groups across the UK for women facing/considering reconstructive surgery, to meet/talk to others who have been through it.
The Charity’s attendance co-ordinated by Stock Car fan Nick King, who has experienced first hand the great work the charity does with his Wife, Dee, who very sadly lost her battle earlier this year.
The total from the collection on the night came to a fantastic £1198.58p. Huge thank you to everyone for their contribution.
Nick Said: “Keeping abreast are amazed at that figure!! A big thank you from them and I to everyone that donated on the night. Thanks also to John Lund for making his return to racing on 20th October; that was a dream come true after making enquiries via Annette about his racing plans earlier this year.”
He added: “I will be sponsoring the Consolation race on World Final night for the Charity in 2019 & Phoebes car next year will return to the tracks after a winter refurb in hot pink!! Next year will be my last year of doing this, thank you to everyone for their support.”
