Report:
The biggest Micro Banger race of the year , the UK final provided a great race right to the end, where a pile up caught out the top two drivers in the very final stages, Ricky Garrod snuck by and went from third to first, whilst the long time leader Ashley Garrod (337) recovered to come home second, Mackenzie Whitehead (331) coming home third after starting pole position. The 2L bangers were entertaining as always with some big hits going in, Callum Woods (396) took the meeting final coasting across the line after the enginge run sick, pushed to the finsh by second place Shady Gough (99). The Junior Bangers were hugely competitive, Ashley Shaw (32) picking up two race wins and was all set for a third in the Final, only to crash out in spectacular style with a huge rollover, promoting Harvey Webb (622) into the lead and then the win. The Lady Bangers returned with Unlimited Bangers; a good field of cars joining and they were great entertainment, a number of smart cars and some "tin" amongst the line up - Bekah Everett (627) in a Mercedes Hearse, Gemma Roberts (23) and Amy Brown (477) both in Mk1 Granada Coupe's and Charlotte Whitaker (67) in a fresh Mk2 Granada the pick of the bunch; along with Kayleigh Sanders (626) returning her Mk2 Granada Limo from 2019. Chloe Bricknell (28) taking the meeting final with a strong drive ahead of Emma Mullins (100) and Codie Reeves (488). A great night all round.
