A superb Bank Holiday session, all the classes delivering excellent action to entertain the big crowd. Stand out moments were certainly the jacking train in the opening 2L Banger race. The 1500 Bangers in savage action, including 3 huge rollovers in heat 3. 2L Saloons saw the debut of Alfie Aldous (238), who quickly got up to speed, coming close to a win in heat 2, only just losing out in the last half a lap to Cole Atkins (399) and Lizzy Crowden (184) also sneaking through, it won’t be long until you see him with the chequered flag. A huge shout out to Deane Mayes (730) blowing an engine in heat 2 and changing the engine before the final, to then go and win the race in a new car; great effort by the team to turn the repairs around. Kieran Bowman (178) also doing similair changing an engine in between in heats and the final, finishing in second place; great work!
